Dental decay in children

A recent study into dental decay in children has found that a third of children aged between 5 and 6 years old have decay in their baby teeth.

This is usually a preventable disease through good eating habits, daily brushing and regular check ups at the dentist.

For children under 6 parents should be brushing their children’s teeth (for 2 minutes). By establishing good habits early children are better equipped to care for their teeth into adulthood.
