What does recycling oral care waste and gardening have in common?

Between 23 March and 31 October TerraCycle is giving schools the chance to win one of 5 community garden sets.  Students are collecting any brand of oral care waste. What are they playing for? The five schools that collect the most oral care waste will win a recycled community garden set. This includes three garden beds, two custom-made benches, a rubbish bin and sign plus $500 towards plants and seeds.

Canberra Dental Care is already a proud supporter of Terracyle but has sent all our oral waste collected to CSIRO Care Black Mountain to give them a chance to win a new garden. The students at the school set us a beautiful thank you card which is now proudly on display!

Oral care waste cannot be recycled in the yellow bins. If you want to be a part of both recycling your oral waste and help a local school, drop off your oral care waste to us.
