Bhutan National Day 2025

The 17th of December is Bhutan’s National Day.

Why does Canberra Dental Care want to tell you about this? We have 3 amazing dental nurses who are from Bhutan and we thought today would be a nice excuse to celebrate them.

This is our third year celebrating all things Bhutanese. We are all addicted to Bhutanese dumplings and curries – often sharing food together for special occasions.

Did you know that there are only 2 countries in the world that have a dragon on their flag, and Bhutan is one of them. (For those playing at home the other one is Wales – where Dr Jowitt was born!)

Kesang, Sonam and Sonam are key members of our dental nurse team. We are also blessed to have Grace as part of the team too!
