Canberra Dental Care was very excited today when para Olympic silver medalist Monique Murphy attended for her examination and hygiene appointment bringing along her 400m Silver S10 medal from the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. You can watch Monique’s race here
Monique has been a patient of Dr Jowitt’s for over 10 years!!!! He has seen he grow from a young girl, through the trauma of her accident into the determined and strong young woman we see today.
We couldn’t be more proud of you Mon!!!
Monique is now based in Queensland for her training, concentrating on World Para Swimming Championships in Mexico Sept 60 – October 6th 2017
As well as a Para Olympic swimmer, she is studying social work at university and is a very humbling public speaker and charity abmassador, her current mission is to raise the profile of Share the Dignity
